AfterLoss Jewellery Valuer – Part-time
We are looking for someone in Auckland with a broad and deep experience of
jewellery to provide professional independent afterloss jewellery
valuations for jewellery insurance claims. Gemmology qualifications are
not necessary. What is required is a high standard of ethics, great
written and oral language skills, the ability to type accurately, and the
right attitude. Formal training will also be provided.
This part-time position entails interviewing people who have suffered a
loss of their precious jewellery and obtaining the information necessary
to value the pieces as accurately as possible. The successful applicant
will have worked in the jewellery trade for more than 10 years and will be
able to relate to people from all walks of life.
